Keanu Charles Reeves is a Canadian actor and musician born on September 2, 1964. He has received numerous accolades over his career spanning four decades and is known for his leading roles in action films, his amiable public image, and philanthropic efforts. Reeves was born in Beirut and raised in Toronto, making his acting debut in the Canadian television series Hangin In in 1984. He later appeared in his first feature film, Youngblood, in 1986. His breakthrough came with roles in the science-fiction comedies Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey.
