John Edward Forté was an American rapper and record producer born on January 30, 1975. He gained recognition as a member of the musical collective Refugee Camp All-Stars and was known for collaborations such as 'We Trying to Stay Alive' with Wyclef Jean and 'Rumble in the Jungle' featuring the Fugees, A Tribe Called Quest, and Busta Rhymes.
