John Davidson: podcast appearances and interviews

John Craig Davidson, born June 1, 1971, is a Scottish activist and campaigner for Tourette syndrome. He gained public attention at age 16 when he was featured in the BBC television documentary Johns Not Mad, which highlighted the manifestations of his Tourette's syndrome. Throughout his life, he has appeared in multiple BBC documentaries and has been the subject of a biopic titled I Swear, scheduled for release in 2025. Davidson is recognized as a nationally known ambassador for the condition and actively promotes awareness and understanding through talks and workshops for school pupils and teachers. He has organized an annual two-day residential Tourette camp aimed at young people. In 2019, Davidson was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire in recognition of his efforts to increase awareness and understanding of Tourette syndrome and to support individuals dealing with the condition.
