John Amaechi: podcast appearances and interviews

John Amaechi is an English former professional basketball player, psychologist, and consultant. During his athletic career, he played college basketball for the Vanderbilt Commodores and the Penn State Nittany Lions, and competed professionally in the National Basketball Association. His playing career also included stints in France, Greece, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States. After retiring from basketball, Amaechi pursued a career as a psychologist and established his own company, Amaechi Performance Systems. In 2007, he became the first former NBA player to publicly come out as gay, sharing his experiences in his memoir Man in the Middle. Since then, he has been recognized as one of the world's most high-profile gay athletes. Amaechi currently works as a leadership transformation expert and is affiliated with APS Intelligence LTD.
