Jodie Comer is an English actress of screen and stage, born on 11 March 1993. She has received numerous awards for her performances, including two British Academy Television Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, a Tony Award, a Laurence Olivier Award, and two nominations for Golden Globe Awards. Comer gained recognition through her roles in the television series My Mad Fat Diary and Doctor Foster, as well as the miniseries Thirteen. From 2018 to 2022, she starred as Villanelle, a sociopathic assassin, in the BBC America series Killing Eve, earning both a BAFTA Television Award and a Primetime Emmy Award for her performance. In 2021, she portrayed Sarah, a healthcare assistant, in the television film Help, which earned her another BAFTA Television Award.
