About Joan Lunden
Joan Lunden, born Joan Elise Blunden on September 19, 1950, is an American journalist, author, and television host. She co-hosted ABC's Good Morning America from 1980 to 1997 and has authored more than ten books. Her work has included appearances on the Biography program and the Biography Channel. As of 2014, she served as a special correspondent for NBC's Today show. In 2021, she became the host of the public television program Second Opinion. Throughout her career, Lunden has been recognized for her contributions to journalism and broadcasting.
