Jerry Saltz: podcast appearances and interviews

Jerry Saltz is an American art critic born on February 19, 1951. He has served as a senior art critic and columnist for New York magazine since 2006. Prior to this role, Saltz was the senior art critic for The Village Voice. He has been recognized with the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism in 2018 and received nominations for the award in 2001 and 2006. Saltz has been involved in academia as a visiting critic at institutions including the School of Visual Arts, Columbia University, Yale University, and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He also participated in the New York Studio Residency Program and was the sole advisor for the 1995 Whitney Biennial. In addition to his writing and teaching, Saltz has been honored with three honorary doctorates, including from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2008 and the Kansas City Art Institute in 2011.
