An Evening with Netflix's Fauda
Fauda , the acclaimed Israeli action-drama, returns for a fifth season with a conversation with co-creators Lior Raz, who also stars in the series, and Avi Issacharoff. CNN's Bianna Golodryga moderates. Two years after the October 7 massacre, the members of the Fauda unit are still grappling with a tragedy that struck Israel and transformed their lives at the most personal and painful level. What begins as an unrestrained quest for vengeance soon becomes a perilous mission to prevent a major terrorist attack emerging from an unexpected direction, one that threatens Israel at its most vulnerable point. Raz and Issacharoff discuss the making of the new season, the events and experiences that shaped its story, and the challenge of creating an action thriller as the realities behind the fiction continue to evolve.
