Jared Kushner: podcast appearances and interviews

Jared Corey Kushner, born January 10, 1981, is an American businessman, investor, government official, and politician. He has been involved in real estate, primarily through the family business Kushner Companies, which he took over in 2005 after his father Charles Kushner's criminal conviction. Kushner also expanded into the media industry by purchasing The New York Observer in 2006. Initially registered as a Democrat, he donated to Democratic politicians before switching his registration to Independent in 2009 and later to Republican in 2018. Kushner played a prominent role in Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and was at one point considered its de facto campaign manager. Subsequently, he served as a senior adviser to President Trump from 2017 to 2021 and as director of the Office of American Innovation. During his tenure, he was involved in various initiatives including the passage of the First Step Act, a criminal justice reform bill, and efforts related to the Middle East Peace Process, including authoring the Trump peace plan and facilitating the signing of the Abraham Accords. Kushner also contributed to the Trump administration’s response to COVID-19 and brokered the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement. Following his official departure from the White House, he founded Affinity Partners, a private equity firm backed largely by the Saudi government's sovereign wealth fund. Re-engaging in governance, he returned to an informal advisory role in the second Trump administration and was appointed as a Special Envoy for Peace in 2026, participating in diplomatic negotiations concerning the Gaza war and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
