Hugh Bonneville: podcast appearances and interviews

Hugh Richard Bonniwell Williams, known professionally as Hugh Bonneville, is an English actor born on November 10, 1963. He is recognized for his portrayal of Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham, in the ITV historical drama series Downton Abbey which aired from 2010 to 2015. Bonneville's performance in the series earned him a nomination at the Golden Globes as well as two consecutive Primetime Emmy Award nominations, in addition to receiving three Actor Awards. He has reprised his role in the subsequent feature films Downton Abbey (2019), Downton Abbey: A New Era (2022), and Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale (2025). Besides his role in Downton Abbey, Bonneville has appeared in several notable films including Notting Hill (1999), Iris (2001), The Monuments Men (2014), and the Paddington series from 2014 onward. His performance in Iris garnered him a BAFTA Award nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. He has also been critically recognized for his roles in the comedy series Twenty Twelve (2011–2012) and W1A (2014–2017), including four BAFTA nominations for Best Male Comedy Performance. Bonneville later reprised his role as Ian Fletcher in Twenty Twenty Six (2026).
