Gregory Daniel Davies, born on 14 May 1968, is a British comedian, actor, presenter, and writer. He is known for roles in several television series including Mr. Gilbert in The Inbetweeners, Greg in We Are Klang, Ken Thompson in Cuckoo, Dan Davies in Man Down, and Paul Wicky Wickstead in The Cleaner. He also created the series Man Down and The Cleaner. Davies has released two comedy specials on Netflix, You Magnificent Beast and Full Fat Legend. He is widely recognized as the host of the comedy panel game shows Taskmaster and Never Mind the Buzzcocks and has appeared on programs such as Mock the Week, Fast and Loose, Live at the Apollo, and Would I Lie to You? His performance in Cuckoo earned him a BAFTA Television Award nomination for Best Male Comedy Performance in 2013. In addition to his entertainment career, he holds a professional role as the head of behavioural finance at Oxford Risk, indicating his engagement with financial psychology and behavioural analysis.
