Grant Morrison: podcast appearances and interviews

Grant Morrison, born on 31 January 1960, is a Scottish comic book writer, screenwriter, and producer recognized for their work in the comic book industry. Morrison has written extensively for DC Comics, including significant runs on titles such as Animal Man, Doom Patrol, JLA, Action Comics, and Green Lantern. They are also notable for their graphic novels Arkham Asylum, JLA: Earth 2, and Wonder Woman: Earth One, as well as for creating the meta-series Seven Soldiers and The Multiversity. Their work includes major story arcs like Final Crisis and DC One Million, which served as central elements of broader crossover events, and the maxi-series All-Star Superman. Morrison's most prominent work is a seven-year Batman storyline that spans several series, including Batman and Robin, Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne, and Batman Incorporated. They co-created the character Damian Wayne for DC. In addition to their work with DC, Morrison has authored creator-owned projects published mostly through DC's Vertigo imprint, such as Flex Mentallo, We3, Seaguy, The Filth, and The Invisibles. They have also written for Marvel, including a three-year run on New X-Men and creating Marvel Boy. From 2016 to 2018, Morrison served as the editor-in-chief of Heavy Metal magazine. Their work has received critical acclaim and numerous awards, including Eisner, Harvey, and Inkpot awards. In 2012, Morrison was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire for their services to film and literature.
