Patton Peter Oswalt, born on January 27, 1969, is an American stand-up comedian and actor. He began performing stand-up comedy in 1988 and released his first comedy album, 222 (Live & Uncut), in 2003. Oswalt has received multiple nominations for the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album, totaling seven nominations, and won the award in 2017 for his seventh album, Talking for Clapping. In television, he is known for his role as Spence Olchin in the sitcom The King of Queens, which aired from 1998 to 2007, and for narrating the sitcom The Goldbergs from 2013 to 2023. His film credits include voicing the main character, Remy, in the animated film Ratatouille in 2007.
