Grace Ethel Cecile Rosalie Allen, born on July 26, 1895, was an American vaudevillian, singer, actress, and comedian. She gained fame as the zany partner and comic foil of her husband, George Burns. The duo, known as Burns and Allen, performed together across radio, television, and film. Allen was recognized for her contributions to entertainment with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame located at 6672 Hollywood Boulevard. In 1988, she and Burns were inducted into the Television Hall of Fame. Co-star Bea Benaderet regarded Allen as one of the greatest actresses of her time.
