Gay Hendricks: podcast appearances and interviews

Gay Hendricks is an American psychologist, writer, and teacher specializing in personal growth, relationships, and body intelligence. He earned a Ph.D. in psychology from Stanford University in 1974 and subsequently taught at the University of Colorado for 21 years, where he became a full professor in the Counseling Psychology Department. Hendricks is also the founder of The Hendricks Institute, through which he conducts workshops focused on personal development. He is recognized for his work in relationship enhancement and the development of conscious breathing exercises. Collaborating closely with his wife, Dr. Kathlyn Hendricks, he has authored over 35 books and has appeared on various radio and television programs, including an interview with Jean Chatzky. Hendricks co-founded The Spiritual Cinema Circle with his wife and producer Stephen Simon and served as the executive producer for the film Zen Noir. He was also involved in producing and writing for the film You Can Heal Your Life featuring Louise Hay. In addition to his work in psychology and film, Hendricks has partnered with writer Tinker Lindsey to explore themes of emotional and spiritual challenges through the Tenzing Norbu mystery series. His contributions extend into the media landscape, with a short biopic about his life created for Polish television, in which he was portrayed by actor Jon Cubbon.
