Flying Lotus: podcast appearances and interviews

Steven Ellison, born October 7, 1983, is an American record producer, DJ, filmmaker, and rapper known professionally as Flying Lotus. He has released seven albums, including 1983, Los Angeles, Cosmogramma, Until the Quiet Comes, You're Dead! Flamagra, and Yasuke, all of which have received critical acclaim. In addition to his recording career, Ellison founded the record label Brainfeeder and has contributed to various multimedia projects. He has produced much of the bumper music for Adult Swim and has released rap mixtapes under his Captain Murphy alias, such as Duality. Ellison also created and hosted the in-game radio station FlyLo FM for the video game Grand Theft Auto V. His work extends into filmmaking, with him directing the sci-fi horror film Ash, scheduled for release in 2025.
