Eric Corey Freed, born in 1970 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is an American architect and the principal sustainability director at CannonDesign. He is also the founding principal of organicARCHITECT, an architecture firm that emphasizes biophilic and regenerative design. Freed is recognized as one of the leading influential green architects worldwide. He grew up in Philadelphia and attended Overbrook High School. He graduated with honors from Temple University College of Architecture in 1994 and later earned a Masters in Ecological Design from the San Francisco Institute of Architecture.
