Dennis Lehane: podcast appearances and interviews

Dennis Lehane is an American author and screenwriter born on August 4, 1965. He has published more than a dozen novels, many of which are mysteries featuring recurring characters. His debut novel, A Drink Before the War, was published in 1994. Several of Lehane's novels have been adapted into films, including Mystic River directed by Clint Eastwood in 2003, Shutter Island directed by Martin Scorsese in 2010, and Gone Baby Gone and Live by Night, both directed by Ben Affleck in 2007 and 2016 respectively. In addition to his novels, Lehane's short story Animal Rescue was adapted into the 2014 film The Drop, which garnered attention for being the final film role of actor James Gandolfini. Lehane is recognized for his work as a crime novelist and TV writer and producer and has made significant contributions to both literature and film through his compelling storytelling and character development.
