David Sacks: podcast appearances and interviews

David Oliver Sacks, born on May 25, 1972, is a South African-American entrepreneur, author, and investor with a focus on internet technology firms. He has served as a general partner at Craft Ventures, a venture capital fund he co-founded in late 2017. Sacks is also known for co-hosting the All In podcast, alongside Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, and David Friedberg. His career includes roles as the COO and product leader of PayPal, as well as founder and CEO of Yammer. In 2016, he served as interim CEO of Zenefits for ten months. Sacks's investment portfolio includes early-stage investments in prominent companies such as Facebook, Uber, SpaceX, Palantir Technologies, and Airbnb. His involvement in sports medicine includes a position as a member of the TSSAA Sports Medicine Advisory Committee in Silicon Valley. In December 2024, he was appointed by President Donald Trump as the White House AI and crypto czar for the incoming administration, a role he resigned from in March 2026.
