David L. Young, born around 1955, is an American politician currently serving as the Treasurer of Colorado. He previously served as a Democratic member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing District 50. Young was appointed to the House on July 28, 2011, to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Jim Riesberg. During his time in the state legislature, he was involved in legislative activities until his transition to the role of State Treasurer in early 2019. He was re-elected to a second term as state treasurer in 2022. Aside from his political career, Young is affiliated with Bradley Chiropractic Nutrition Center. His career demonstrates a focus on public service within the state of Colorado.
