Daniel Peter Williams, born on 13 July 1973, is a British former professional boxer and the CEO of Active Travel England. He competed in professional boxing from 1995 to 2023, challenging for major titles including the WBC and Ring magazine heavyweight titles in 2004. Throughout his career, he held multiple regional titles such as the Commonwealth heavyweight title twice between 1999 and 2006, and the British heavyweight title twice between 2000 and 2010. He also contested the European heavyweight title in 2003. As an amateur, Williams won bronze medals at the 1993 European Championships and the 1994 Commonwealth Games. He is notably recognized for his upset knockout victory against Mike Tyson in 2004.
