Cush Jumbo: podcast appearances and interviews

Cush Jumbo, born on September 23, 1985, is a British actress and writer known for her work across television and theatre. She gained prominence for her role as attorney Lucca Quinn in the CBS drama series The Good Wife from 2015 to 2016 and continued her portrayal in the spin-off series The Good Fight from 2017 to 2021. In 2024, she starred as June Lenker in the series Criminal Record, where she also served as an executive producer. Jumbo has appeared as DC Bethany Whelan in the ITV crime drama series Vera during 2012 and again from 2015 to 2016, as well as Lois Habiba in the third season of the Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood in 2009. Her theatre work includes a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for her performance as Mark Antony in Julius Caesar in 2013. She wrote and performed in the play Josephine and I, earning an Evening Standard Theatre Award for her one-woman show and reprising the role Off-Broadway in 2015.
