Craig Bellamy is a Welsh football coach and former professional footballer. He has held the position of head coach for the Melbourne Storm. Born in Cardiff, Bellamy made his professional debut with Norwich City in 1996 and later played for numerous clubs in the Premier League and elsewhere, including Coventry City, Newcastle United, Celtic, Blackburn Rovers, Liverpool, West Ham United, Manchester City, and Cardiff City. Throughout his career, he was known for his goal-scoring ability and leadership on the field. Bellamy represented Wales internationally, earning 78 caps and scoring 19 goals. He served as the captain of the Welsh national team from 2007 to 2011 and participated in the 2012 Olympics as a member of the Great Britain team. After retiring from playing in 2014, Bellamy transitioned into coaching. Outside of his playing career, he was involved in charitable activities, founding The Craig Bellamy Foundation in Sierra Leone to support disadvantaged children through education and football coaching.
