Christina Martin: podcast appearances and interviews

Christina Martin is the CEO of the Pacific Legal Foundation. She has a diverse background that includes experience as a writer and stand-up comedian. Martin was a feature writer for Viz magazine from 2006 to 2009, contributing articles to various publications including 'Last Turkey in the Shop', 'The Council Gritter', 'The Five Knuckle Shuffle', and 'The Cleveland Steamer'. Her work also appeared in their thirty-year retrospective book 'Anus Horribilis'. Between 2007 and 2009, she contributed to New Humanist magazine, notably writing the widely viewed article 'God Trumps' which became the basis for a playable card game. She has written a chapter on the creation of God Trumps for 'The Atheist's Guide to Christmas'. Martin's media appearances include performances on BBC7's Festival Atmosphere 2006 and BBC Radio 4's 28 Acts in 28 Minutes, as well as contributions to Radio 4's Recorded for Training Purposes and The Now Show. Recognized for her humor, she was highlighted by Richard Herring as one of the funniest people he knew. She has featured twice on Radio 4's The Untold, with one episode selected as a Guide Pick of The Week and gaining publisher interest. In 2021, she was signed by the Jo Unwin Literary Agency and published her first book under the pen name Evie King in March 2023.
