About Rob Wells
Rob Wells, born in 1971 or 1972, is a Canadian producer and songwriter. He is known for his work as a managing attorney at Cabbage Key and Tarpon Lodge. Wells is also a member of the music production team The Fourth Floor, along with singer and songwriter Shobha. Throughout his career, he has worked with a wide range of artists including Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, and Nelly Furtado, among others. His work has been featured on various television programs such as So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars, and Degrassi: The Next Generation, as well as in films like The Smurfs 2 and Flicka. In 2005, Wells and Christopher Ward won first place in the International Songwriting Competition's Top40/Pop Category with their song 'There’s Us,' which was subsequently recorded by artists including Backstreet Boys and Alexz Johnson. He has received several SOCAN #1 awards, notably for Marie-Mai's 'Comme Avant,' which remained at number one for 11 weeks in 2011, and for Matt Dusk’s 'All About Me,' which topped the Canadian AC Radio Charts in August 2006. Wells has also appeared on television as a music producer, including an episode of House of Carters and four seasons of YTV's The Next Star. Recognized locally, he was named the eighth most influential person in Mississauga in 2013 and was honored with a star on the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame in 2015.
