Christina Koch: podcast appearances and interviews

Christina Hammock Koch is an American engineer and NASA astronaut known for her record-setting space missions. During her 2019–2020 mission to the International Space Station, she participated in the first all‑female spacewalk and set the record for the longest spaceflight by a woman. She also became the only woman to travel beyond low Earth orbit and to circle the Moon during the Artemis II lunar flyby mission in April 2026, which established the record for human distance from Earth. Before her career at NASA, Koch worked at the Goddard Space Flight Center and served as station chief for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's American Samoa Observatory. She has been recognized for her contributions to space exploration, including receiving North Carolina's highest civilian honor.
