Chris Shiflett: podcast appearances and interviews

Christopher Aubrey Shiflett is an American musician born on May 6, 1971. He is best known as the lead guitarist for the rock band Foo Fighters, a position he has held since 1999 following the release of the band's third album There Is Nothing Left to Lose. Shiflett joined the band after his previous work with punk rock bands No Use for a Name, where he was a member from 1995 to 1999, and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, which he was part of from 1995 to 2019. His role in the Foo Fighters has included lead guitar and backing vocals, and his career has also encompassed fronting bands such as Jackson United and Chris Shiflett & the Dead Peasants. In addition to his work with bands, Shiflett has released several solo albums, with his third album Lost at Sea coming out in October 2023. His contributions to music and the success of the Foo Fighters earned him induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the band in 2021.
