Charlie Cox: podcast appearances and interviews

Charles Thomas Cox is an English actor born on 15 December 1982. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Cox has appeared in the television series Daredevil from 2015 to 2018 and is set to reprise the role in Daredevil: Born Again starting in 2025. His television work also includes roles such as Owen Sleater in HBO's Boardwalk Empire during its second and third seasons and Jonathan Hellyer Jones in the film The Theory of Everything released in 2014. Cox's performance in the 2007 fantasy film Stardust marked his breakout role as Tristan Thorn, establishing him in predominantly British productions during his early career. He made his West End debut in 2008 in a revival of Harold Pinter's plays The Lover and The Collection. Additionally, Cox has been involved in stage productions including a 2019 staging of Harold Pinter's Betrayal, which was performed in the West End and on Broadway. More recently, he starred in the Irish drama series Kin from 2021 to 2023 and the Netflix spy miniseries Treason in 2022. Cox expanded into voice acting with his video game debut in 2025 as Gustave in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
