Vincent Philip D'Onofrio, born on June 30, 1959, is an American actor and filmmaker recognized for his roles in both film and television. His performances include a supporting role as Private Leonard Gomer Pyle in Full Metal Jacket, as well as leading roles in films such as The Whole Wide World and The Cell. D'Onofrio is also well known for portraying Edgar the Bug in Men in Black and its animated series, as well as for his portrayal of Detective Robert Goren on the television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent, a role that spanned a decade.
