Brett Gilliland is an American college football coach and administrator affiliated with Elite Entrepreneurs, LLC. He has a notable history with the University of West Alabama, where he played as a quarterback from 2000 to 2003, setting several school records. Gilliland began his coaching career in 2004, holding assistant coaching positions at West Alabama, Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern, and Kennesaw State. On December 9, 2013, he was announced as the 21st head coach of West Alabama. After serving as head coach for ten seasons, Gilliland stepped down following the 2024 season to assume the role of athletic director at West Alabama, succeeding Kent Partridge after his retirement.
