Brandon Gene Gill, born on February 26, 1994, is an American politician serving as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Texas's 26th congressional district since 2025. He is a member of the Republican Party and is recognized as the youngest Republican member of Congress. Gill's district includes Denton County, a suburban area north of Dallas and Fort Worth. Born in New Mexico and raised on a ranch in Texas, he attended Dartmouth College, earning a bachelor's degree in history and economics. After graduating, he briefly pursued a career as an investment banker before founding the online newspaper D.C. Enquirer in 2022. He served as publisher and editor-in-chief of the publication until deciding to return to Texas to run for Congress. Gill's political positions include support for mass deportations and prioritized border enforcement. He has also made statements advocating for restrictive policies on Muslim immigration, which have been characterized as Islamophobic.
