Ben Russell: podcast appearances and interviews

Ben Russell, born in 1976, is an American artist and experimental filmmaker associated with Russell Interior Systems. He gained recognition through his numerous short films, particularly the 'Trypps' series, created throughout the 2000s. In addition to his filmmaking, Russell served as the curator of the Magic Lantern Cinema in Providence, Rhode Island. His feature debut, 'Let Each One Go Where He May', released in 2009, was shot in Suriname using a Steadicam in a series of 13 long takes. His work has been characterized by influences from ethnography, psychedelia, and Surrealism. Russell is a Guggenheim Fellow and was a participating artist in documenta 14, reflecting his prominence in contemporary art and experimental filmmaking.
