Anjelica Huston is an American actress born on July 8, 1951. She is known for portraying eccentric and distinctive characters in film and television. In 2010, she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She is the daughter of director John Huston and the granddaughter of actor Walter Huston. Her film debut occurred in her father's movie A Walk with Love and Death in 1969. During the 1970s, she worked as a model in New York City before pursuing acting in the early 1980s. Her breakthrough role came in the 1985 film Prizzi's Honor, where she played a mobster moll, earning her the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress and making her the third generation of her family to win an Academy Award.
