I’m out here picking out bath mats and feeling like an absolute mogul homeowner… until the rent check clears and reminds me I’m definitely still a tenant. But why do I have this intense, compulsive need to have my entire life together at all times? To answer that, we have to dig into the psychological phenomenon that is Eldest Daughter Syndrome . As the oldest daughter and the oldest granddaughter on both sides, I was basically born to manage logistics and overthink everything. Join me as I unpack why I am the way I am, the pressure of being the family trailblazer, and how I'm learning to romanticize my new space.
