How AI Is Rewriting the Rules of Content Creation (and Who Gets Left Behind) - Austin Armstrong
Mar 20, 20261h 10mS2
Most creators still think content success comes from posting more. Austin Armstrong argues the opposite. In this conversation, we explore how AI is quietly reshaping the entire content creation landscape—from ideation to scripting to distribution—and why the old model of grinding out posts is quickly becoming obsolete. Austin is the founder of Syllaby , a platform designed to automate content creation by turning search demand and audience questions into ready-to-publish videos and posts. Instead of guessing what to create, marketers can now build content directly from what their audience is already searching for. But this episode goes deeper than tools. We talk about the psychology of visibility, the real mechanics behind viral content, and why most entrepreneurs struggle not because they lack ideas—but because they lack a system for turning those ideas into consistent output. Austin also breaks down insights from his new book Virality , including the frameworks behind shareable content and how AI is accelerating the speed at which creators can test, learn, and scale their message. This isn’t just about AI content creation. It’s about understanding the new rules of attention in a world where content volume is exploding—and the creators who learn to harness AI as a leverage tool are pulling further ahead every day. If you’ve ever felt stuck staring at a blank content calendar, this conversation might completely change how you think about creating, publishing, and scaling your voice online. Austin is the founder of Syllaby , a platform built to help creators and businesses automate the entire content creation process—from identifying what their audience is searching for to generating ready-to-publish scripts and videos. During this conversation, Austin shares how AI tools are fundamentally changing the way marketers approach content, why most creators struggle with consistency, and how automation can turn content production into a repeatable system instead of a constant creative grind. Mischa and Austin also dive into the deeper mechanics of virality, drawing from Austin’s book Virality , which explores the psychology and structural patterns behind content that spreads. Together they discuss: • Why most creators struggle to stay consistent with content • How AI tools are transforming the marketing workflow • The difference between guessing content ideas vs using search data • How automation can remove the friction from content creation • Why virality isn’t luck—it’s structure and psychology • The future of AI-assisted content marketing If you’re an entrepreneur, creator, or marketer trying to keep up with the rapid changes in digital marketing, this episode offers a grounded look at where content creation is heading—and how to stay ahead of the curve. Most founders think growth problems are marketing problems. Charles Gaudet doesn’t. In this conversation, Charles breaks down why fast growth is often the most dangerous thing a business can chase — and why predictable growth is the real path to scale, peace, and long-term success. We talk about the Founder’s Trap , why vanity metrics quietly kill good companies, and how many entrepreneurs accidentally become the bottleneck in the very businesses they built. Charles shares hard-earned lessons from scaling companies through uncertainty, including a pivotal COVID-era pivot, the role of gratitude and perspective in leadership, and why collaboration — not hustle — is the real unlock. This isn’t just a tactical conversation. It’s a reset on how founders think about growth, control, and what “winning” actually looks like. 📝 Show Notes In this episode of the Table Rush Talk Show, I sit down with Charles Gaudet , CEO of Predictable Profits , to unpack what really drives sustainable business growth — and what quietly sabotages it. We explore why chasing speed often creates fragility, how founders unknowingly trap themselves inside their own companies, and why predictable systems outperform heroic effort every time. What we cover: Why fast growth is often the most dangerous kind of growth The Founder’s Trap — and how founders become the bottleneck Predictable revenue vs. vanity metrics (and what actually matters) The difference between data that informs and data that distracts How learning differences became a strategic advantage for Charles The leadership lessons that came from loss, perspective, and gratitude A real-world COVID pivot that forced clarity under pressure Why collaboration is the true engine behind every breakthrough How founders reclaim energy, peace, and control as they scale Mentioned in this episode: Driven by Doug Brachman 📚 Driven: Understanding and Harnessing the Genetic Gifts Shared by Entrepreneurs, Navy SEALs, Pro Athletes, and Maybe YOU 👉 https://www.amazon.com/Driven-Understanding-Harnessing-Entrepreneurs-Athletes/dp/1619616939 Connect with Charles: Connect with Charles: https://predictableprofits.com/ https://charlesgaudet.com/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/charlesgaudet Mischa’s Stuff 🔎 Find podcast contact emails fast: Podcast Email Finder → https://www.podcastemailfinder.com Stop guessing. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
