Would you give up your name to save your life, if a tyrant demanded it first? Matthew Fox and Erin McGowan open Star Wars Generations’ new episode-by-episode watch-through of Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi with exactly that question, then dig into the animated premiere: a girl named Kara hunting for her captured father, and a warlord named Nawaam commanding an army behind a lightsaber that stubbornly refuses to turn red.Matthew argues the show undercuts its own premise by introducing Jedi-trained fighters too soon, while Erin pushes back that the scarcity was always about lost lightsabers, not lost Jedi. They also dig into whether Nawaam genuinely believes he’s still the hero, and whether Kara’s father is really collaborating with his captors or playing a longer game. If a blade that’s supposed to expose evil won’t turn red for a tyrant, what does that make him? Can lightsabers work like mood rings for your soul? Matthew Fox and Erin McGowan get listeners ready for "Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi," the new eight episode series expanding two existing Visions shorts about a girl named Kara, her captured father, and lightsabers that change color depending on who's holding them. They break down both shorts scene by scene, plus read written thoughts from absent co-host Alex Kormann.Erin makes the case that these lightsabers track a person's pull toward the dark side almost in real time, while Matthew connects the droid Teto's advice about admitting failure to Yoda's line from "The Last Jedi." They also debate how much a story needs to fit official canon to still feel like real Star Wars, and end with a theory about who else from the galaxy's past might turn up a thousand years later. What happens when the people who raised you decide you’re guilty before you get a chance to prove otherwise? Matthew and Erin spend this episode of Star Wars Generations on one of “The Clone Wars”’ most consequential stretches, season five’s “Sabotage” through “The Wrong Jedi,” where Ahsoka Tano is framed for bombing the Jedi Temple, expelled from the Order, and left to clear her own name while the people who trained her hesitate to have her back. They get into why the Jedi’s rigid rulebook makes the whole system brittle, and how Barriss Offee’s betrayal lands differently than Pong Krell’s ever did. Ventress and Ahsoka’s unlikely alliance gets airtime too, along with a devastating Padawan braid scene and a theory about how much Palpatine actually orchestrated. So why didn’t Ahsoka come back in time to help Anakin before it was too late? Full show notes and resources Paul Hoppe’s book: Friday Night Is My Monday Morning . Before he became the paranoid revolutionary from Rogue One, Saw Gerrera was a scrappy fighter who thought sheer force could win a war. Matthew, Alex, and Erin head back to "The Clone Wars" Season 5 for the Onderon arc, the four episodes that introduce Saw and his sister Steela Gerrera as they lead a rebellion against a separatist-backed puppet king, with Jedi advisors Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka training them in guerrilla warfare. The hosts dig into what makes Saw and Steela such effective foils for each other, her patience against his instinct to just go fight, and trace how her death reshapes him into the extremist audiences meet years later. There’s a droideka lesson that doubles as a thesis statement and a Hondo Ohnaka cameo with real consequences. What does it cost to keep fighting after you lose the one person holding you together? The Mandalorian and Grogu • The Film Board Crossover
Jun 18, 20261h 4m
Seven years between Star Wars films, and the galaxy came back with a tin-can dad, a green gremlin, and a muscled teenage Hutt with an identity crisis. Matthew Fox of Star Wars Generations joins Pete Wright, Justin Jaeger, and Ocean Murff on The Film Board to work through all of it — the parts that soar, the parts that drag, and the twenty minutes in a swamp that made everyone forget they were watching a puppet. The panel is split on the Swole Hutt (Ocean is in, Pete is out), united on Ludwig Göransson’s score, and divided on whether this is a movie or just the best three episodes of a Mandalorian season that never got made. Martin Scorsese shows up as an informant and somehow steals the room. Sigourney Weaver shows up as a character and somehow doesn’t. The question the table keeps circling: did Star Wars prove it belongs in theaters, or did it prove Ocean right all along? Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
