〈覺林菩薩偈〉，讀誦，女聲，七遍。 自古相傳這首偈頌的力量能破地獄，《纂靈記》裡記載道，有一位京兆人名為王明幹，沒有戒行也沒修善業，因病去世之後，被帶到地獄，門口有一僧人是地藏菩薩，教他一首偈頌：「若人欲了知。三世一切佛。應當如是觀。心造諸如來。」告訴他能背誦這首偈頌，可以免除他的地獄之苦。 他在閻羅王面前背誦之後，音聲所到之處，受苦的人都得解脫，王就赦免他。三天後復甦時，告訴大家這件事，參驗偈文，知道是華嚴經夜摩天宮菩薩所說，也就是覺
