Episode #323
How To Become A Woman You Can Depend On
In this episode, I'm talking about the difference between self-trust and hyper-independence, and how strength can sometimes become protection when depending on other people hasn't always felt safe. I share how self-trust is built through values, decisions, boundaries, follow-through, and knowing you won't abandon yourself when life gets hard. I also talk about receiving, vulnerability, and why allowing trustworthy people to support you doesn't make you less capable or independent. There is a difference between healthy dependence and needing someone else for your stability, and real self-trust should make connection safer, not make other people unnecessary. You can be soft and strong, capable and supported, independent and still allow people to matter. The goal isn't to become a woman who needs nobody, but a woman who knows she can depend on herself and is secure enough to build a life with people she can depend on too.
