Review of Companion: The Ideal Match
The film doesn't exactly innovate, but it does deliver on its promises without any pretentious nonsense. If you're looking for something light and gruesome, it's a pleasant trip, but don't expect any big surprises. The worst part is that it creates tension without the use of cliched jump scares. Rather, it creates an eerie mood that persists even in the middle of the day. Without using gimmicks, the conversation, pacing, and dramatic beats all work in unison to keep you on edge. Overall, it's a fun movie, but don't expect too much from it. https://medium.com/@lookmovie/graftedgrafted-review-sasha-rainbows-gross-and-glamorous-feature-debut-b33831d5...
