Ned Van Zandt had 12 years sober, a Broadway career, money in the bank, apartments in New York and Los Angeles, and a recurring role on Law & Order. Then, in 2000, he decided he could have one drink. Seven years later, he was in a Texas state jail in Del Valle. In this episode, Ned talks openly about relapse after long-term sobriety, the difference between simply not drinking and actually doing the work of recovery, overdose, surrender, asking for help, and how he rebuilt his life after losing almost everything. He also shares how he turned those experiences into Lost in Del Valle, his autobiographical one-man show in which he plays 19 characters. By the end, the conversation arrives at the thing Ned says he would tell his ten-year-old self: “You are enough.” Access our website for the full notes for this episode : crosstalkofficial.com/episode/ned-van-zandt-12-years-sober-then-one-drink Video is available on https://www.youtube.com/ nstagram.com/crosstalkpodcasts/ | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ leaving a review here
