Zakary Challen Brown, born on November 7, 1971, is an American motorsports executive and the chief executive officer of McLaren Racing. Born and raised in California, he competed as a professional racing driver for ten years before transitioning to focus on motorsport business and commercial activities. Brown co-founded and co-owns United Autosports, a prominent racing team involved in international sportscar racing and historic racing events around the globe. The team has achieved notable successes, including winning six championships and securing victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice. Between 2016 and 2019, Brown served as the non-executive chairman of Motorsport Network, a digital platform serving the motorsport and automotive sectors. Throughout his career, he has received multiple industry recognitions, including the TIME100 Impact Award in December 2025 and inclusion in the Financial Times Most Influential of 2025 list. Brown has also been featured in the Paddock Magazine F1 Power List and was inducted into the Sports Business Journal Forty Under 40 Hall of Fame three times. Additionally, he was named Promo Marketer of the Year by PROMO Magazine. He founded Just Marketing, Inc. in 1995, a motorsports marketing agency that has appeared five times in Inc.
