Austin Watson, known by his ring name Xavier Woods, is an American professional wrestler affiliated with WWE. Born on September 4, 1986, Watson is best recognized for his role as a member of the tag team The New Day, alongside Big E and Kofi Kingston. Since joining WWE in 2010, Watson was assigned to its developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling, which was later rebranded as NXT. He was promoted to WWE's main roster in 2013 and formed The New Day in 2014. During his tenure, he has achieved significant success, including a record seven-time SmackDown Tag Team Champion, five-time World Tag Team Champion, and one-time NXT Tag Team Champion. Collectively, he has secured 13 WWE tag team championships, with The New Day's second reign holding the record for the longest tag team title reign in WWE history until 2021. In October 2021, Watson won the King of the Ring tournament and adopted the moniker King Woods. His accomplishments include winning the NXT Tag Team Championship in 2022 and achieving the status of Tag Team Triple Crown Champion. Outside of wrestling, Watson has built a presence as a gaming YouTuber under the name Austin Creed, hosting the channel UpUpDownDown since 2015, which features interactions with fellow WWE performers, gaming personalities, and guests. He also served as a host on the G4 television network dedicated to video game coverage from its 2020 revival until 2022.
