William Salter Austen Williams, born on October 6, 1992, is a cricket player who has represented Canterbury and has been involved in various domestic competitions. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler known for his wicket-taking ability, having led Canterbury in dismissals during the 2017–18 Plunket Shield season with 19 wickets in eight matches. Over the course of his career, Williams has achieved several notable milestones including taking a hat-trick in the 2019–20 Super Smash and recording multiple five-wicket hauls in first-class cricket. In June 2022, he expanded his cricket career internationally by signing a short-term overseas contract with Lancashire County Cricket Club to participate in the County Championship in England.
