Will Gadd, born on March 8, 1967, is a Canadian ice climber, mixed climber, and paraglider pilot. He is recognized for his achievements in extreme sports, including formerly holding the world distance record in paragliding with a flight of 423 kilometers in Zapata, Texas. Gadd is also known for hosting the documentary series Fearless Planet, where he collaborates with regional scientists. In this series, he travels to various locations to explore topics related to the episode's focus, often working alongside experts or independently. He is the son of Ben Gadd, an award-winning guide, writer, and naturalist based in Jasper, Alberta. Ben Gadd authored the bestselling Handbook of the Canadian Rockies and is regarded as an authority on the natural history of the Canadian Rockies.
