Vivica Anjanetta Fox, born on July 30, 1964, is an American actress and producer with a career spanning several decades. She began her entertainment journey on Soul Train in the early 1980s and subsequently appeared on daytime soap operas such as Days of Our Lives and Generations. Fox's prominence grew with her lead role in the NBC sitcom Out All Night during the early 1990s. Her breakthrough came in 1996 with roles in the blockbuster films Independence Day and Set It Off. She continued to act in numerous films including Booty Call, Soul Food, Why Do Fools Fall in Love, Kingdom Come, Two Can Play That Game, and Boat Trip.
