Virginia Giuffre: podcast appearances and interviews

Virginia Lee Roberts Giuffre was an American and Australian advocate for survivors of sex trafficking. She was a prominent accuser of Jeffrey Epstein and provided detailed allegations to media outlets about Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Giuffre alleged that Epstein operated a trafficking ring by outsourcing girls for sexual services and claimed she was trafficked to various men, including Prince Andrew, on multiple occasions. She publicly shared her experiences through interviews and legal actions, which brought significant public attention to her cause. In 2011, Giuffre described her interactions with Prince Andrew to the Daily Mail and was subsequently interviewed by the FBI, where she reiterated her claims of trafficking. Her allegations against Prince Andrew became a focal point in her activism; in 2019 she publicly accused him of sexual misconduct, leading to a civil lawsuit filed in 2021 and settled in 2022. Giuffre also pursued legal actions against Ghislaine Maxwell, resulting in a settlement in 2017, and against Alan Dershowitz, which was later dropped. She founded the non-profit organization Victims Refuse Silence in 2015, later relaunching it as Speak Out, Act, Reclaim in 2021, to support survivors of abuse. According to documents released in 2026, investigative inquiries found her allegations about Epstein’s trafficking activities to be unsubstantiated, citing shifting accounts and inaccuracies. Giuffre died by suicide in April 2025. Her memoir, Nobody's Girl, was published posthumously in October 2025.
