Vir Das: podcast appearances and interviews

Vir Das, born on 31 May 1979, is an Indian comedian, actor, and musician. He began his career in stand-up comedy and subsequently expanded into Hindi cinema, taking supporting roles in films such as Badmaash Company, Delhi Belly, and Go Goa Gone. In 2017, Das performed a Netflix comedy special titled Abroad Understanding. Throughout his career, he has appeared in approximately 35 plays, over 100 stand-up comedy shows, 18 films, eight television series, and six comedy specials. In addition to his performances, he has written comedic columns for publications including Femina, Maxim, Exotica, DNA, and Tehelka. In 2019, Das made his debut in American television with the series Whiskey Cavalier. His work has been recognized with the International Emmy Award for Best Comedy Series in 2023 for his Netflix comedy special Vir Das: Landing, highlighting his contributions to comedy and entertainment.
