Victor Davis Hanson: podcast appearances and interviews

Victor Davis Hanson is an American classicist, military historian, and conservative political commentator. Born on September 5, 1953, he has contributed to discussions on modern and ancient warfare as well as contemporary politics through publications such as the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the National Review, and the Washington Times. Hanson holds the position of professor emeritus of classics at California State University, Fresno, where he has been recognized for his academic work. He is also the Martin and Illie Anderson Senior Fellow in classics and military history at the Hoover Institution and has served as a visiting professor at Hillsdale College. In 2007, he was awarded the National Humanities Medal by President George W. Bush. During the same year, he was appointed by the president to serve on the American Battle Monuments Commission, a position he held until 2008. His work encompasses a broad range of historical and political topics, often reflecting his conservative viewpoints.
