Spencer Pratt: podcast appearances and interviews

Spencer William Pratt, born on August 14, 1983, is an American reality television personality. He gained prominence through his role on the series The Hills, where his relationship with Heidi Montag and a feud with cast member Lauren Conrad became central themes of the show. Pratt and Montag began dating in 2007, married in April 2009, and made appearances on reality programs such as I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! and the British version of Celebrity Big Brother. In 2013 and 2017, he competed on the latter's series, demonstrating continued engagement in reality television. In addition to his television career, Pratt authored a memoir titled The Guy You Loved to Hate: Confessions from a Reality TV Villain, published in 2026. Beyond his entertainment pursuits, Pratt became involved in activism after his home in Pacific Palisades was destroyed by fire in January 2025. Following the event, he sued the city of Los Angeles and called for investigations into California Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass. On the anniversary of the fire, he announced his candidacy for mayor of Los Angeles in 2026 as a member of the Republican Party. Although he finished third in the nonpartisan primary election, he was ultimately eliminated from the race.
