Ursula Burns: podcast appearances and interviews

Ursula Burns is an American businesswoman and the non-executive chairwoman of Teneo. She has previously served as the chairwoman and CEO of Xerox Corporation, where she was the first black woman to lead a Fortune 500 company and the first woman to succeed another as the head of such a company. Burns held the position of CEO from 2009 to 2016 and remained the chairman until 2017. Her leadership roles extend to corporate boards, including Uber, American Express, and ExxonMobil. From late 2018 to early 2020, she was the chairperson and CEO of VEON, and in 2021, she co-founded the private equity firm Integrum Holdings. Burns has also been actively involved in public service; she led the White House national program on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics from 2009 to 2016 under President Barack Obama. She served as chairwoman of the President's Export Council from 2015 to 2016, following her role as vice chair. Recognized for her influence, Forbes ranked her as the 22nd most powerful woman in the world in 2014.
